Eligibility Criteria
Essential qualification: Ph.D. in the appropriate branch or discipline, with first class in the preceding degree and a very good academic record throughout.
Experience (as on the date of application):
- At least 6 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching, research or professional work.
- Of these, at least 3 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor in an academic institution, or Senior Scientific Officer, Senior Design Engineer or an equivalent position in a research organisation or industry.
- Demonstrated experience of independent research, such as guiding M.Tech. and Ph.D. students.
- A strong record of publications in high impact factor journals, patents, laboratory or course development, and/or other recognised professional activities.
Salary
The post carries Level 13A2, Cell-01 of the 7th CPC pay matrix, with a starting basic pay of ₹1,39,600 per month.
