What is HP TET Arts?
HP TET Arts is a Teacher Eligibility Test conducted for candidates who wish to teach Social Science and Arts-related subjects at the upper primary and secondary levels in Himachal Pradesh schools. Candidates qualifying this examination become eligible for future TGT Arts recruitment processes.

HP TET Arts 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following conditions:
Option 1
- B.A./B.Com with at least 50% marks.
- 1-Year or 2-Year B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Option 2
- Post Graduation with minimum 55% marks.
- 3-Year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Option 3
- 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.
- 4-Year B.El.Ed.
Option 4
- 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.
- 4-Year B.A. B.Ed.
Option 5
- B.A./B.Com with minimum 50% marks.
- B.Ed. (Special Education)
Option 6
- Candidates pursuing B.Ed. are also eligible as per HPBOSE norms.
HP TET Arts 2026 Age Limit
There is generally no upper age limit for appearing in HP TET Arts. Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification requirements prescribed by HPBOSE.

HP TET Arts Admit Card 2026
HPBOSE releases the admit card online. Candidates can download it using their Application Number and Date of Birth. HP TET June 2026 admit cards have been released through the HPBOSE portal.
Steps to Download Admit Card
- Visit HPBOSE website.
- Open HP TET Admit Card section.
- Select TGT Arts.
- Enter Application Number.
- Enter Date of Birth.
- Download PDF.
- Print the admit card.

Important Instructions to the Candidate: (TET)
- Candidate must report to his/her Examination Centre before 2 hours from starting of the Examination.
- Candidate will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre without this Admit Card in any case.
- To establish his/her identity, candidate must carry valid Identity proof i.e. Aadhar Card, License, Passport, Voter’s Identity Card etc.
- Candidates are advised to bring drinking water bottle (transparent) at their own.
- Candidates will have to follow all the necessary instructions of the invigilator in the exam centre.
- Candidate is advised to bring his/her own Hard Card Board to the Examination Centre.
- No electronic Gadget/Mobile Phone/Pen Drive/Bluetooth or any other Communication/Electronic Device is allowed in the Premises/Examination Hall. Therefore, the Candidate should ensure that he/she is not in possession of any kind of live supporting devices before entering the Premises/Examination Hall.
- Candidates are advised to locate their test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test so that they can reach the centre on time on the day of the test.
- Request for centre change will not be entertained.
- This admit card is provisional. Eligibility will be verified by the recruiting agency. Qualifying the examination does not guarantee a job.
