Post-Wise Vacancy Breakup🎓 Eligibility Criteria 2026

1. Educational Qualifications

  • Clerk (Group-C): Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) from a recognized university + basic computer knowledge (operating system, MS Office, basic typing/printing).
  •  
  • Process Server (Group-D): 10+2 (Higher Secondary) pass from a recognized board.
  •  
  • Peon / Chowkidar / Safai Karamchari (Group-D): 10+2 pass from a recognized board.

  • Stenographer Grade-III (Group-C): Graduation degree + shorthand/typing proficiency.
  •  
  • Driver (Group-C): 10th (Matriculation) pass + valid LMV license held for 3+ years + 3 years driving experience.

  • Court Manager (Group-B): Graduation + MBA degree with 3 years of management experience.

2. Domicile & Local Education Condition

Candidates must be Indian citizens. Candidates who are not Bonafide Himachalis are eligible ONLY if they have passed their 10th (Matriculation) and 10+2 (or Graduation for Group-C) from a recognized school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh, and are familiar with local dialects and customs.

 

3. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • General / Unreserved / EWS: 18 to 45 years (25 to 35 years for Court Manager).

  • Reserved Categories of HP (SC / ST / OBC / PwD): 18 to 50 years (5 years upper age relaxation).

PST (Physical Standard Test) & PET (Physical Efficiency Test) 2026 Clarification

💡 Important Note regarding PST & PET:

No PST (Physical Standard Test) or PET (Physical Efficiency Test) is conducted for non-executive judicial administrative posts such as Clerk, Process Server, Stenographer, Peon, or Court Manager in the HP High Court recruitment.

 

Physical measurements (Height/Chest) and endurance runs are only relevant for Police SI / Constable exams and are not required for judicial court staff posts.
